Limon
It’s been a tough road, but I’ve finally located the elusive fruit used to make 7-Up. Speaking of 7-Up, I wonder what happened to them? I remember in the 80’s and 90’s they were a major force in the soda industry. Judging by the amount of shelf space in the supermarket, they seem much more like a niche player. I guess Sprite won, which is too bad, as 7-Up was always my favorite.
Whoops, sorry about that digression. This pic was something I was fooling around with for my photography class, but in the end I never submitted it.
The fruits were pretty dissimilar in size (resulting in a heavy handed crop) and it sounded better in my head than the final result, but it’s still fun.
This picture has no artificial color (or caffeine). Never had it, never will…

These are wonderful and simple colors to photograph. I like this photo. The photos are fresh and the colors are bright,
Have you ever thought of creating a Wordless Wednesday Post using your photographs? I think it would be awesome.
btw, my Wordless Wednesday photo was of my plum tree.
Have a great weekend!
Velva, thanks! I love your Wordless Wednesday posts and have been thinking about doing something similar. I didn’t want to blatantly rip off your idea 🙂 Plus I’m not sure if I could consistently turn out interesting stuff, but we’ll see. After class if done, I will need to force myself to keep shooting on a schedule to practice.
I love plums, am jealous of your tree (for the photo opportunities and the fruit!).
love the site, not a jew but love to cook & eat!
Another beautiful picture. Do you use a tripod for your shots?
Thanks Helene. I do use a tripod for almost all of my shots. I find it helps not only keeping things really sharp, but also allows me to focus on the two most important aspects I have found in shooting food: lighting and composition. I may put up a post or two my setup one of these days, I just haven’t felt confident enough with my photography skills (but they are getting better!)
